Fees

What shoppers pay, and the one fee sellers pay on each released sale.

If you are buying

You pay the item price and the seller’s delivery fee, both shown before you pay. ADDPlus+ adds nothing on top. ADDPlus+ pays the payment company’s M-Pesa collection fee itself.

If you are selling

Sellers pay 10% of each released sale. All of it goes into the Plus. It is a share of the item amount, taken only when the sale is released to you. Your delivery fee is not included: you keep all of it. Refunded sales pay nothing.

The profit-share pool (shared monthly among sellers)5%

Each part is rounded to the nearest cent, and you receive the rest, so the parts always add up to the sale. Your statement shows every sale split this way.

Payouts are in whole shillings, at least KES 100; cents left over stay in your balance for next time. ADDPlus+ does not deduct a transfer fee.

Tax: ADDPlus+ is checking with its accountant whether it must withhold tax from payouts to sellers. Nothing is withheld today. If that changes, sellers will be told before it applies.

To prove your payout number, you pay KES 5 by M-Pesa when you apply. It is paid back with your first payout.

The Plus

The fund and pool figures are public, month by month, straight from the ledger.
